My clinical approach is shaped by more than 25 years of experience supporting older adults, caregivers, couples, and families through some of life's most complex transitions. Long before becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist, I worked alongside individuals and families navigating the realities of dementia, caregiving, long-term care, and family decision-making—experiences that continue to inform my work today.
My professional background includes serving as a Long-Term Care Ombudsman, where I advocated for residents in local facilities and investigated concerns involving abuse, neglect, and exploitation. For a decade, I provided dementia consultation, education and family support programs for a local nonprofit organization. Through these roles, I developed extensive experience helping families understand dementia, navigate difficult care decisions, manage changing family dynamics, and find practical solutions during times of uncertainty.
Today, as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, I combine that depth of real-world experience with evidence-based therapy to support individuals, couples, caregivers, and families. My areas of focus include dementia and caregiver support, couples counseling, premarital preparation, family therapy, grief, anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
Whether you're strengthening a marriage, preparing for the future, or navigating the emotional impact of a dementia diagnosis, my goal is to provide compassionate, practical, and personalized care that helps you move forward with confidence, clarity, and hope.

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, caregiving, a dementia diagnosis, or a major life transition, therapy should offer more than a place to talk—it should provide practical guidance, meaningful insight, and a clear path forward.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and direct.
Together, we'll identify the patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck, build on your existing strengths, and develop practical strategies that create lasting change. I strive to help clients improve communication, strengthen relationships, navigate difficult decisions, and approach life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
Because everyone has a unique story, I tailor each session to your specific goals and circumstances. Drawing from evidence-based practices and specialized training in dementia care, couples therapy, and family systems, I provide personalized support that is both clinically informed and grounded in real-life application.
Above all, I believe that even during life's most difficult seasons, there is room for growth, connection, and hope. My goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity, stronger relationships, and the confidence to navigate whatever comes next.
