INDIVIDUAL RATE: $150 

__________________________________ CAREGIVER-FOCUSED THERAPY Caregiver support plays a crucial role in providing emotional and practical guidance for individuals caring for a loved one with dementia. The relationship that a caregiver has with the individual affects both their role and responsibilities. This caregiver support service equips caregivers with skills to manage stress, reduce burnout, and enhance decision-making. I can assist caregivers in coping with overwhelming responsibilities, fatigue, and anxiety, ensuring they feel empowered in their caregiving role. Additionally, I facilitate access to valuable resources and promote self-care practices to enhance overall well-being.

If you haven't noticed, support services for individuals diagnosed with dementia, particularly for those younger than 65, are nearly non-existent. I am excited to announce that THIS group is for YOU! This support group will focus on caregiver support and topics pertinent to individuals diagnosed with MCI, early-stage dementia, and younger onset Alzheimer's or related dementias. We will provide coping skills, strategies for memory enhancement, daily living support, communication techniques, and more! Over 12 weeks, participants will engage in structured support, psycho-education, and group therapy experiences tailored to early-stage dementia therapy. Space is limited! A pre-screen interview is required. 

GROUP RATE: $125 per session, or pay in full and SAVE $300!

DEMENTIA-AFFECTED COUPLES THERAPY 

This specialized therapeutic service supports couples adapting to the challenges of cognitive decline, ensuring the preservation of connection, dignity, and quality of life. This approach recognizes that both partners are impacted by the diagnosis and merit caregiver support as they navigate the evolving dynamics of their relationship. 

Together, we will work to:

• Improve communication and reduce misunderstandings related to memory and cognitive changes

• Navigate shifting roles and responsibilities

• Address feelings of grief, loss, fear, frustration, guilt, and uncertainty

• Strengthen emotional connection and maintain meaningful engagement

• Develop practical strategies for managing cognitive symptoms and daily challenges

• Foster teamwork in decision-making related to future planning

• Identify ways to continue experiencing joy, purpose, and connection despite the diagnosis. 

A Specialized Approach Unlike traditional couples therapy, dementia therapy for couples integrates relationship support with an understanding of the unique emotional, cognitive, and practical challenges that accompany dementia. While a dementia diagnosis changes many aspects of life, it does not have to define your relationship. With the right support, including early-stage dementia therapy, couples can learn to navigate challenges together, strengthen their partnership, and create a path forward with greater understanding, compassion, and connection.
